Patrick Georgoff, MD
Patrick is a trauma, emergency and critical care surgeon at Duke University. He completed his undergraduate degree at the University of Michigan, medical school at the University of Pennsylvania, General Surgery Residency and Surgical Critical Care Fellowship at the University of Michigan, and Trauma Surgery Fellowship at the University of Texas in Houston. He is passionate about surgical education and caring for injured patients and is co-director of Behind the Knife.

TEDDY PUZIO, MD
Dr. Puzio attended college at Virginia Tech and his time spent volunteering with the Fire Department and Rescue Squad solidified his dream to become a physician. He attended the Medical College of Virginia (MVC) for medical school and completed a general surgery residency at the University of North Carolina in Chapel Hill. Following residency, he completed a surgical critical care fellowship at Indiana University in Indianapolis. He then completed a second fellowship in Traumatology at the University of Texas Health Science Center at Houston.

JASON BRILL, MD
Jason has worked as a surgeon in a wide variety of roles—including austere care and humanitarian aid—and in many different locations, from remote, isolated hospitals to the busiest trauma center in the US. As a trauma surgeon with The Queen’s Medical Center, his approach to care is to respect that this is not a normal, routine day for the patient, and to focus on turning their life-threatening event into the best possible outcome.
