Dr. Scott Watkins, MD
Dr. Watkins is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Anesthesiology and Critical Care at Johns Hopkins University. He practices pediatric and pediatric cardiac anesthesia at Johns Hopkins All Children’s Hospital in Saint Petersburg, Florida. He is board certified in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. Dr. Watkins obtained his medical degree from the Medical College of Georgia and completed his residency and fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center. He has completed additional training in quality improvement science through the Intermediate Improvement Science Series (I2S2) at the James M Anderson Center for Health Systems Excellence at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. His academic interests include patient safety, quality improvement and the use of simulation for systems improvement.
