Rahel Nardos, MD, MCR
Rahel Nardos is an associate professor in obstetrics and gynecology and the Director of Global Women’s Health within the Center for Global Health and Social Responsibility at the University of Minnesota, USA. Dr. Nardos was born and raised in Addis Ababa, Ethiopia. She is a U.S.-trained urogynecologist, with an MD from Yale and a fellowship in female pelvic medicine and reconstructive surgery at Oregon Health and Science University. Dr. Nardos has been working with colleagues in eastern, western and southern African countries for over fifteen years, focusing on safe surgery and prevention of childbirth injuries. 
Hale Teka, MD
Dr. Hale Teka is an Associate Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology in the College of Health Sciences at Mekelle University. He earned both his Doctor of Medicine and his specialty certification in Obstetrics and Gynecology at Ayder Comprehensive Specialized Hospital, Mekelle University. Dr Hale recently completed an MSc in Health Policy at the University of Suffolk, United Kingdom, and currently serves as a consultant obstetrician-gynecologist and active researcher at Mekelle University.
Birhanu Abera Ayana, MD
Dr. Birhanu Abera Ayana is an Assistant Professor of Obstetrics and Gynecology at the University of Global Health Equity (UGHE) in Rwanda. He holds a Doctor of Medicine degree from Jimma University, a specialty diploma in Obstetrics and Gynecology from Addis Ababa University, and a subspecialty diploma in Urogynecology and Pelvic Reconstructive Surgery from the University of Gondar. With over 15 years of clinical and academic experience across Ethiopia and Rwanda, Dr. Birhanu is an active researcher with a main focus area of women's health and medical education, and he continues to integrate teaching, clinical care, and research in advancing reproductive health.
