Le Centre pour la chirurgie mondiale (CCM) a été cofondé en 2011 par deux chirurgiens du Centre universitaire de Santé McGill pour faire face au défi mondial des blessures et maladies requérant une intervention chirurgicale. L'objectif du CCM est de réduire la morbidité et la mortalité liées à ces pathologies dans des contextes où les ressources sont limitées, en renforçant les capacités locales grâce à une approche multidisciplinaire.

Course Description

Le Centre pour la chirurgie mondiale (CCM) a été cofondé en 2011 par deux chirurgiens du Centre universitaire de Santé McGill pour faire face au défi mondial des blessures et maladies requérant une intervention chirurgicale. L'objectif du CCM est de réduire la morbidité et la mortalité liées à ces pathologies dans des contextes où les ressources sont limitées, en renforçant les capacités locales grâce à une approche multidisciplinaire.

Kiran J Agarwal-Harding is an orthopaedic trauma surgeon at Beth Israel Deaconess Medical Center (BIDMC), director of the Harvard Global Orthopaedics Collaborative (HGOC), and founder and president of SONA Global. His research focuses on assessing and improving the quality of orthopaedic trauma care in resource-limited settings.
